Terms and Conditions

1. Subject matter

These terms govern the purchase and use of the transport services, excursions and other tourist experiences offered by GT 1937 srl, with registered office at Piazza E. Ferretto, 53 MESTRE (VE), VAT No. IT04717830279 (hereinafter, the "Company"), through the website www.gt1937.it and any further authorised sales channels.

The purchase of a service implies that these terms have been read and accepted.

2. Booking

The booking is deemed concluded and binding on the customer upon receipt of the booking confirmation and of the related payment, where a payment is required.

The customer must carefully check the details entered at the time of booking, including:

  • date and time of the service;
  • number of participants;
  • departure and arrival point;
  • any additional services or options;
  • the details required for the correct provision of the service.

Any errors must be notified to the Company without delay.

3. Prices and payments

The prices of the services are those shown on the website at the time of booking and, unless otherwise stated, are expressed in euro and include any charges required under the applicable legislation.

Payment may be made using the methods available on the website at the time of booking.

The booking will be deemed confirmed in accordance with the methods set out in the order confirmation sent to the customer.

4. Times and attendance at the departure point

The customer is responsible for being present at the departure point stated in the booking confirmation 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

If the customer is late, the Company does not guarantee that it will wait beyond the scheduled time, nor that a missed service can be made up.

Failure by the customer to attend the departure point ("no-show") may result in loss of the right to the service and, except as otherwise provided in the specific cancellation terms, does not give rise to a right to a refund.

In order to keep to the timetable and to allow all passengers to enjoy the experience, the vessel will depart punctually at the end of each stop. The customer must therefore take note of the times communicated by the crew and return to the vessel sufficiently in advance of the stated departure time. If the passenger does not reboard by the time communicated, the vessel may depart without that passenger, and this does not give rise to a right to a refund of the service.

5. Changes to the service

For operational, technical or safety reasons, because of waterway conditions, or for other circumstances outside the Company's control, reasonable changes may be made to the itinerary, the times, the boarding point or the way in which the service is carried out.

Where possible, the Company will inform the customer of material changes before the service begins.

If a change makes it substantially impossible to use the service purchased, the provisions of law and any specific terms communicated to the customer will apply.

6. Weather conditions and safety

Services in the lagoon are subject to weather, water and navigation conditions.

For safety reasons, the Company may change, suspend or cancel a service where conditions do not allow it to be carried out safely or in compliance with the requirements of the competent authorities.

If the Company cancels the service for those reasons, the customer will be entitled, according to the circumstances and the arrangements communicated by the Company, to have the service rescheduled or to a refund of the amount paid for the service not provided, unless the law provides otherwise.

7. Passenger conduct

Throughout the service, the customer must behave respectfully towards other people, the crew, the vessel, the places visited and the lagoon environment.

Any conduct that may jeopardise the safety of navigation or of the other passengers is prohibited.

The crew may take the measures required, in compliance with the applicable legislation, where a passenger's conduct poses a safety risk.

8. Minors and persons with particular needs

Minors must be accompanied and supervised as required by the applicable legislation and by the specific terms of the service.

The customer must give prior notice of any particular requirements, disabilities, reduced mobility or other needs that may affect use of the service, so that the Company can check in advance whether the assistance requested can be provided.

9. Personal belongings

The Company is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings left unattended by the customer.

The customer is responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the service.

10. Liability

The Company operates in compliance with the legislation applicable to transport and tourist services.

The Company's liability is governed by the mandatory provisions of law applicable to the individual service.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude the rights granted to consumers by the legislation in force.

11. Cancellations and failure to use the service

The terms governing cancellation by the customer and any refunds are set out in the Withdrawal and cancellations section and/or in the specific terms shown on the page for the individual service at the time of booking.

Where specific terms differ from the general terms, the terms expressly stated for the service purchased prevail.

12. Complaints and assistance

Any comments or complaints relating to the service must be communicated to the Company promptly, where possible while the service is being provided, so that action can be taken where possible.
